Bisnis PNG is the largest online business platform in PNG that connects businesses and people to opportunities. At the back end of this platform is the Supplier Management Portal (SMP) where PNG businesses or companies and candidates can register and seek businesses and job opportunities from Project Developers, major contractors, and other large organizations in PNG. It is a preferred one-stop shop that enables easy access to capacity building services, promotes business to business networking, supports local content participation and stakeholders’ engagements.

Supplier Management Portal
PNG businesses and those operating in PNG can register as a Supplier and build their profile credentials online through the SMP. The SMP is user-friendly and easy for businesses to register.
The business can edit and update their profile information online on the SMP. It integrates supplier information including profile, contacts, performance records, reference documents, and other essential information in a single, readily accessible source.
Through this platform, registered suppliers can have access to notices posted by Buyers. These notices are relating to project tenders or spin of business opportunities, employment opportunities, latest news and events, and other necessary information. We have some large organisations, including project, who have registered as Buyers and work closely with IBBM to support their supplier selection and development, and support their plan to utilise local content participation and reporting. Therefore, businesses are encouraged to register with us as a Supplier to seek such endless opportunities. Thousands of suppliers are already registered on this platform.
Supplier Development
This platform also enables easy access to Supplier Development Programs and information to meet capacity building needs of the Suppliers, and how to meet the requirements of the buyers and other organisations who may wish to engage suppliers. The SMP creates a single organized hub to maintain all supplier related data, so it reflects adequately their current capacities and capabilities.
The portal enables buyers to access supplier information including profile to ensure well-informed decisions made regarding supplier selections and partnerships. Through this platform, we work closely with the suppliers to improve their capabilities, performance, and overall quality to meet the buyer’s specific requirements and standards.
IBBM offer various capacity building programs that improves suppliers’ capabilities and outlook. These includes Business Assessment, ISO related Management System Audits, Training and Education, Workshops, Advisory/Consultation Services, and other related services. Such collaborative approach aims to create stronger, more reliable, and mutually beneficial relationships between all relevant stakeholders.

Business-to-Business (B2B) Engagement
This platform also facilitates, promotes, and encourages business-to-business (B2B) engagements, networking, and marketing. This fosters effective collaboration between suppliers and buyers, suppliers and suppliers, and job seekers and suppliers/buyers. It provides avenue for supply chain development as one supplier still depends on others to pursue its business operations and objectives.
This platform acts as a central hub where relevant parties can communicate and transact in real-time. It provides opportunities for marketing of good and services among suppliers and advertise through the website.
It facilitates Joint Venture and Partnership opportunities for foreign, PNG and local businesses in respect to their project vicinity, capabilities, and the availability of opportunities.

Local Content Support
This platform supports and promotes content participation in various capacity. It enables local businesses and people to actively participate in major resource development projects and others in the respective region and industry by engaging in various business activities. We intend to significantly contributes to the effective implementation of Papua New Guinea's National Content Policy.
Customized landowner capacity building programs are also on offer to assist our landowner companies and leaders to maximise their participation. We also support Local Content Planning on how locals can maximize participation in various projects and industry.
